STEPS TO RETIREMENT
To ensure there is no delay in your first pension check, we suggest you meet with a Pension Benefits Counselor 4-6 weeks before your retirement date. If you are married, your spouse's signature will be required on several documents. It would be beneficial for them to accompany you to your appointment.
During your appointment, you will determine your last working day, select your benefit payment option and receive your monthly pension estimate.
ERF benefit counselors are available to help walk you through the retirement process.
Remember to bring your documents & forms with you to your counseling appointment.
